Sofia to woo young tourists with wine, churches

Sofia should be transformed into a culture, religious and food tourism and target foreign travelers aged between 16 and 30, according to a new strategy prepared by Austrian company ATC Consultants.

The project forms part of an experience sharing programme between Sofia and Athens financed by BGN 276,000 under the Regional Development operational programme.

30 golf tour operators and journalists will visit the Bulgarian Golf resorts

Eight years, since the first participation of Bulgaria in the IGTM in 2002, 30 foreign golf tour operatorts and journalists will visit the leading golf clubs and resorts in Bulgaria in April this year.

Sport Event in Dobrinishte

Dobrinishte organized a winter fiesta on 21 February 2010. The municipality and the local sport association, organized a sport event for Alpine skiing for “Dobrinishte 2010” cup. Guests of the event were the mayor of Bansko Mr. Alexander Kravarov and his wife Natalia, the head of the centre for child care Emilia Vishnina and teachers from the ski clubs in the municipality. A Horse Parade in Momchilovtsi

A horse parade will open the festival dedicated to st. Theodore's day in Momchilovtsi, announced the President of the horse breeding association in the Rodopian village, Todor Popsavov.

The horses and their owners will gather in the farmyard, which is located in the vicinity of the village. Heading the procession will be a farmer, who will cerry the icon of St. Theodore, under the accompaniment of Rodopian music, performed by bagpipers.

Tour operators from Italy and Greece are interested in Rousse

Tour operators from Italy and Greece are interested in Rousse and the region, announced the business centre for aid for small and middle enterprises.
This became clear after a meeting of the Enterprce Europe Network in Spain.
The foreign companies are attracted by the great diversity of alternative forms of tourism, offered by Rousse, Silistra, Razgrad, Veliko Tarnovo and Svishtov. The region is famous as a destination for eco tourism, culture tourism, rural tourism and ornithology tourism.
