The Eco Festival Vola Open Air

The Bulgarian band “Phuture Shok” will be the headliners of the event, which will take place at Okolchitsa peak.

The green festival Vola Open Air will contribute for the nature preservation, by presenting the green idea to the young people.

For a third year in a row, the festival will take place on Okolchitsa peak in Nature park “Vrachanski Balkan”.

Underwater reefs will clean the Black sea coast

The project was developed by scientists form Varna and Ukraine, during the International Black sea science forum

Artificial underwater reefs will improve the ecology of the Black sea in Bulgaria, announced the head of the technical university in Varna. The project was developed by scientists from Varna and Ukraine during the International Black sea Science center.

The lighthouse in Shabla welcomes guests

The occasion is the International year of the sea lighthouses.

Day of the open doors in one of the most interesting sites on the Black sea – the eastern end of Bulgaria – the lighthouse in Shabla.

Special leaflets with the history of the oldest lighthouse on the Black sea. The lighthouse also offers the tallest tower, rising at 32 m over the surrounding area and is painted in two colours.

Church near Krakra Fortress Unites Three Ages

The town of Pernik keeps the secret of ancient Thrace. The town’s destiny is to write the history of the Hellenistic period, because it is one of the very few places in Bulgaria with still unearthed remnants from that late period. In a necropolis in Kulata countryside have been unearthed silver treasure, bronze coins and amphorae, Vassilka Paunova – director of the regional Museum Of History announced.

"Sea of Wine" Festival is Held in Pomorie

The Month of the wine was opened in Pomorie resort on the Black sea.

The Wine Festival is accompanied by a rich cultural and entertainment program.

The festival was opened on 8 August with performances of the favourite Bulgarian artists - Kristina Dimitrova and Orlin Goranov. After the official opening the guests were welcomed by Dionysus - the god of wine.
