Bulgarian Regional Ministry Offers BGN M as Help for Local Tourism

The Bulgarian Ministry of Regional Development announced Tuesday they are releasing the funds to assist local municipalities in developing the tourism sector.

The program has been long-anticipated by the authorities around the country because it increases the amount for co-financing from 5% to 15%.

Bulgarian Eco Activists to Clean up Seven Rila Lakes

Bulgarian environmental activists are organizing a cleanup of trash in the area of the famous Seven Lakes in the southwestern Bulgarian mountain of Rila, August 24-29.

The initiative is organized by Za Zemyata eco-NGO and the authorities of Rila National Park. Everyone is invited to join and help. Work is fully volunteer and participants have to bring own equipments such as tents and suitable clothing.

Opera Festival - Bansko

This year Bansko will surprise all guests and residents of the resort with a unique open air opera festival.
The opera festival will take place on the 27th and 28th of August. The festival is a new initiative, which aims to become a tradition for Bansko.

Over 150 participants in Tour International Danubien land in Vidin

Over 150 participants in the yacht Tour International Danubien (TID) have landed in the Danubean town of Vidin in northwestern Bulgaria. They will visit some of the local landmarks and attractions.
