St. Kirik and Iuliata Island, near Sozopol to be developed as an attractive tourism spot.
Bulgarian government decided to grant the Regional Development and Public Works Ministry the management of St St Kirik and Iulita island near the coastal resort of Sozopol.
The island is under state ownership and is connected to the old part of Sozopol. Its total area amounts to 82,589 000 sq m.

St St Kirik and Iulita is part of Sozopol preserve and was named a cultural monument in 1965.

Real estate developers in Bulgaria have already woken up to the massive pulling power of top quality golf courses, experts say.

"Five signature courses - from the likes of Ian Woosnam, Jack Nicklaus and Gary Player - are planned," says Chris Goodall from English language magazine Quest Bulgaria.

Turkish entrepreneur Sudi Ozkan plans 2 casino openings in Bulgarian city Svilengrad.

Dnevnik learned that work on one of the new casinos, occupying a former youth center, is almost finished and it should open for business in June. The cost of the renovations came in at around $4 mln.

Ozkan-controlled Trimontium Princess Hotel AD bought the youth center in 2006 for 360,000 levs.

Ozkan has a 20-year lease for the second casino in the Romantica hotel that is under construction. Dnevnik...
