Wine Tourism in Bulgaria - Why not?

The possibilities for development of wine tourism and eventual formation of ‘wine paths' in Bulgaria will be soon examined closely and exploited.

This was announced by the Ministry of agriculture after the returning of the Bulgarian delegation from a work visit in Italy.

Representatives from the Executive agency of vine and wine and National vine-wine chamber participated in the delegation.

World Harmony Run crossing the town of Belogradchik

Today the runners of the World Harmony Run will pass the town of Belogradchik (Northwestern Bulgaria), Radio FOCUS – Vidin announced. The official meeting event will take place at the central square of the town at 11.30 am.
After the celebration the fire carried by the runners will be brought to the First Plate.
The Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team - the biggest sport club in the world organizes the World Harmony Run.
The European Harmony Run covers almost 27 000 km crossing 48 countries.

Golf Course in Shabla

Shabla municipality and Oil and Gas E&P have established the joint venture Shabla Golf. Building of a new golf course between Shabla and the village of Tyulenovo, north-eastern Bulgaria, will start within the next five months, Shabla municipal council chair Svetla Atanassova said. Investments in the new project are to exceed 100 million leva. Shabla municipality will provide 135 ha of land as a contribution in kind into the new firm. The land is estimated at 3.8 million leva. Unique Shots of Sunken Thracian Sevtopolis City Made in Bulgaria

Discovery TV channel is filming the sunken Thracian city of Sevtopolis as part of a movie, dedicated to Bulgaria's Thracian Kings' Valley near the town of Kazanlak.

The underwater shoots will be done by a team of Bulgarian divers, leaded by Koliyo Radukov.

Sevtopolis' remains are at a depth of 22-27 meters and the palace of its King Sevt III - 18 meters under the water surface.

8 Bidders Vie to Build Danube Bridge Infrastructure in Bulgaria

Eight bidders submitted offers to build the road and railway infrastructure on the Bulgarian side of the second bridge over Danube linking the EU's two newest member states.

Four companies made individual bids - Czech OHL ZS, Greek Terna, Spain's FCC Constuccion and Constructora Hispanica.

The other four bidders are consortia led by Turkey's Dogus, Spainish Copasa, Czech Subtera and Germany's Dywidag, respectively.
