Cave-lovers from a tourist club called "Rodopeya" are going to welcome the new year in the Yagodinska Cave in Southern Bulgaria.
The Yagodinska Cave is located in the Rhodope Mountain; it is long 10 km and has three levels, of which the lowest one is equipped with electricity and fit for organized tourism with 1.1-km path, and special entrance tunnels.

The world's largest low-cost airline, Irish company Ryanair, is expected to announce on Wednesday a new regular line from the Bulgarian city of Plovdiv to Barcelona, Spain.
The new flight line will be launched at the end of March 2011 and will be served twice a week.
The General Manager of Plovdiv airport Doichin Angelov confirmed reports that a new regular flight is about to be launched, but refused to give any details.

Bulgarian Ministry of Economy, Energy and Tourism presented new project for the establishment of Bulgarian new tourism brand.
The project will cost 2.9 million leva. Operational Program Regional Development provides the funding. The project will focus on analyzing tourism market in Bulgaria.
Experts from the Ministry will make brands for different tourism types - rural, eco, cultural and spa. During the project the Ministry will analyze tourism strategies of Bulgaria’s competitors.

After the great snowy party opening of the ski season on Saturday, the ski slopes and equipment in Borovets are operating and welcome all ski fans. At the moment the light ski slopes in front of the Rila hotel, Popangelov ski slope and Yastrebets ski slopes, as well as Martinovi Baraki 1 and Martinovi baraki 2 are operating in the resort. The other ski slopes will be opened the moment the meteorology conditions allow it.

The heavy snowfall during the past 3-4 days the snow cover in the resort has reached 30- 40 centimeters and provides excellent skiing conditions on the site, reported the Berkovitsa municipality. The municipality authorities stated that the ski slopes are already maintained and the road to the ski centre is clean and safe.
