Students project an artificial island nearby Varna

10 teams of Students – architects and designers will create the hotel and attraction infrastructure on the island.

Mellow Music Festival

Mellow – the first edition of a brand new music festival which will take place on May 27 – 29, 2010 in Sofia. Bulgaria Expects 6 Million Foreign Tourists in 2010

A total of 8-8.5 million tourists will make their vacations in Bulgaria in 2010, and some 6 million are expected to come from abroad.

This means that there will be a 5% increase in the number of foreign tourists year-on-year, according to a forecast of the Institute for Analysis and Estimates in Tourism.

Good expectations for the summer season

Bulgaria expects 5% increase in the number of tourists traveling in Bulgaria, compared to the last year.

This was announced by the deputy minister of economy, energetics and tourism Ivo Marinov.
He added that a new communication campaign will be launched by the end of June. The main goal of the campaign is to increase the access to information tor the opportunities for traveling around the country. The government plans to invest in online advertisement. Pirin Golf & C.C. hosted the first camp of The National Golf Team for 2010

The fist golf camp of the National Golf Team of Bulgaria for this year began on May 14. The camp was arranged in cooperation with the BGA (PBGA) and Alan Rogut – Golf development Manager in BGA. The coaches of the national selection, which will represent Bulgaria in International amateur golf tournaments – Neal Turley and Nikolay Stanew were quite strict, but pleased that the future of amateur golf is in their hands.
