Bulgaria attracts tourists form the Balkan countries

Bulgaria attracts tourists form Greece, Macedonia, Serbia and Romania with attractive prices and excellent service.

The Greek tourists are a real surprise for the start of the new summer season in Sunny Beach, announced Elena Ivanova, head of the Alliance of the owners of hotels and complexes in the resort.

The early bookings for the present year mark a slight rise, compared to the previous year and the mangers of the complex expect a good summer season.

Bulgaria Sends Rose Oil to Space

Solomon Passy - Bulgarian politician and foreign minister (2001-2005) handed to US astronaut Marsha Ivins a phial with rose oil. She promised the phial would reach the international space station and would get into orbit. "The voice of Valya Balkanska (singer of traditional Bulgarian folklore songs) is rambling in the space, but we haven't sent yet Bulgarian wine and computers," Solomon Passy joked.

„Albena“ Resort Announced: “June - the month of the children”

Albena announced June “The month of the children” in the Black sea resort. All families who choose to have a holiday before the high season will receive special gifts and promotional rates.

Sozopol prepares for the summer season 2010

Sozopol Municipality is getting ready for the new summer season, announced the mayor of the town Panayot Reizi.

Numerous activities and events are being prepared to surprise tourists and make the resort even more attractive.

By the end of my all repairments of the streets, public lights and garden design should be completed.

The municipality will guarantee lifeguards on every beach in the resort, as tourists are already attracted by the sunny weather.

Temple Models to Become Top New Tourist of Bulgaria Capital

The new top tourist attraction of the Bulgarian capital Sofia will be a model of the four religious temples in its very downtwon, according to the city’s Chief Architect Petar Dikov.

Sofia Municipality presented Monday its project entitled “Sofia – Wisedom in Action”, which features four small-scale replicas of the religious temples of four different religions.
