Third youth theatre festival of laughter in Pazardzhik

Young actors will march in procession on the streets of Pazardjik this evening. That’s how the third youth theatre festival of laughter in Pazardjik will start. The festival “Ocean of love” will be officially opened at 7 PM at the square in front of the Youth centre in Pazardjik. The event gathers about 200 young actors from Sofia, Plovdiv, Kazanluk, Varna, Stara Zagora, Rousse, Tvurditsa, Gorna Oryahovitsa and Pernik. Bulgaria's Mountain Resort Bansko Boasts Strong Winter Season

More than 600 000 tourists have visited Bulgaria's hotspot mountain resort of Bansko since the start of the winter season, the mayor said.

Britons and Russians account for the bigger part of the tourist flow into the resort, which welcomed for the first time holidaymakers from Greece coming mostly for the weekend, Bansko mayor Alexander Kravarov told Darik radio.

According to him Bansko's skiing conditions in 2008 were better than those during the previous year.

Middle-aged Bulgarians have embraced the philosophy of healthy living and recreation, increasingly opting for spa-resort vacations, according to the monthly survey of the tourist website travel.bg.

The quality and variety of offered spa services, not prices, are the key decision-making factors for Bulgarians choosing a hotel, according to the research.

The regions with preserved nature are the most attractive tourist destination for the French. They are searching for information on the stand of the Bulgarian Ministry of Environment and Water at the “Destination nature” exhibition in Paris.
