Bulgaria Takes Part in Belorussian Tourism Expo

Bulgaria is taking part of International Tourism Expo ‘Rest - 2008' in Minsk, Belarus.
The show starts on Thursday and will continue till Saturday - April 12, reported from State Agency of Tourism (SAT).

This is the biggest tourism expo in the Baltic country and this year will be its 11th edition.

Last year the event was attended by all big Belorussian tour operators, Ministers, tourism organizations and foreign companies interested into the Belorussian market with a total number of 160...

Sofia Yacht Show-Water Sports and Luxury Expo Starts

First specialized exposition for yachts and water sports in Sofia will take place on April 9-13 in Inter Expo Centre.
The leading firms in the sphere are gathering to satisfy Sofia citizens and guests' big interest and search in sea amusements.

Scores of yachts, disposed over 4,000 sq m expo area will guarantee to the public unforgettable experience.

“St. St. Constantin and Elena” resort to become a spa centre

“St. St. Constantin and Elena” to become a spa centre. The managing team of the resort aims to popularize seven mineral springs in the complex.
All hotels near “Chernomorets” hotel will be renovated and “Chernomorets” hotel will be 5-stars hotel with two underground levels. There will be a parking lot and spa centre in the complex.

New Ski Complex to be Build in the Rodope Mountain

The constructions of ski centre ‘Mechi chal' starts in one month near Chepelare town (Rhodope Mountains).
The project is on the amount of 60 million EUR and will be realized in two steps.

The first one foresees the building of high speed quad with 2,000 skiers capacity.

On the first station of the lift will be constructed parking places, restaurant and a hotel.

This part of the plan will cost 15 million EUR.

Business Tourism in Bulgaria to Flourish

Number of Russian tourists and business trips to Bulgaria in the following couple of years are about to increase, prognostikates Andre Gribi from Switzerland on a meeting with the Board of Directors of the Union for Investments in Tourism.
According to his words number of British tourists who visit the country will drop but the interest of Bulgarians towards local resorts will jump.
