Tsvetnitsa Holiday!

Yesterday the Orthodox church celebrated the Tsvetnitca holiday (Flower Day), also called Vrubnica (Willow Day).
The Orthodox church reminds about the solemn entering of Jesus Christ in Jerusalem in the days before Jewish Pasha.

The believers welcome Jesus spreading on his way olive sprigs and declare for the King Messiah.

Extreme tourism is more and more popular in Bulgaria

Extreme tourism become more and more interesting for Bulgarians. More than 12000 people of different ages were interested in the opportunities for extreme experiences and recreation among the beautiful Bulgarian nature in April.

Sofia Hosts Third 'Belgian Culinary Fest'

The third ‘Belgian culinary fest' will take place in capital's ‘Hilton' Hotel to April 27.
Chefs from the ‘Tourism and Restaurantship Collage' in Arshot near Brussels will be main actors in the performance.

They have prepared repertoire of various dishes with shrimps and fish from North Sea, asparaguses with smoked salmon and vanilla souse, Brussels chicory.

Sozopol to Attract Tourists with Golf Courses

Sozopol Municipality starts policy of stimulating golf tourism developing and attracting more solvent tourists to the region.
One of the most significant steps in this direction is the construction of three golf courses in the area between the municipality villages Ravna Gora and Izvor.

Sozopol Municipality gives a chance of private partnership in the golf projects to serious investors, by providing investors terrains of 500 or 1000 decares.

Bulgarian Kazanlak City to Have Own Airport

The preparations for the construction of an airport near Kazanlak city (central Bulgaria) has started, Stefan Damyanov, mayor of the Kazanlak municipality informed.
According to his words the airport will be legitimated by the international flights requirements.

The airport is foreseen to have two runways and a reserve one (1,800 m), which will cover a capacity of landing planes with 40 passengers on board per day.
