Bulgarian Winter Resorts with 1/4 More Foreign Tourists in 2008

The number of foreign tourists who visited the Bulgarian winter resorts in January and February of 2008 has gone up with 23,4% compared to the same months of 2007.
Bulgaria's total revenue from tourism in these months was EUR 97,8 M, which is 19% more than the numbers for the same period in 2007.

The news was announced by the Chair of the Bulgarian State Agency for Tourism - Aneliya Krushkova on Wednesday. Krushkova presented data from a poll about the winter vacation in Bulgaria.

'Unshown Treasures' Revealed for Audience in National Museum of History

Unique exposition will be opened today in the National Museum of History (NMH).
The expo is called ‘Unshown Treasures' and includes exactly that - valuables, never seen by the Bulgarian audience are arranged in the museum's halls.

More that 2000 exponents are included in the exposition. Some of them have appeared in the museum thanks to Police cooperation.

BGN 140 M to Be Invested in Luxury Ski Resort in Bulgaria's Panichishte

The Bulgarian company Rila Sport is going to invest BGN 140 M in the construction of a five-star ski resort close to the village of Panichishte in the Rila Mountain.

The news was announced Tuesday by Slaveyko Staykov, the Executive Director of Rila Sport, lev.bg reported. Staykov's firm was assigned the realization of the project by the administration of the Sapareva Banya Municipality. The future ski resort is expected to be completed by 2016.

In order to overcome the spring fatigue after the tiresome winter months one needs a vitamin-rich diet and a holiday in the open air.
