National conference “Travelling to Bulgaria” in Shoumen

National conference “Travelling to Bulgaria. Journey in medieval Bulgaria and the present-day tourism” takes place in Shoumen from 08.05 to 11.05.2008. The organizers of the event aim to present the most important Bulgarian medieval centres in Shoumen region and the archaeological founds and historical documents, related to them.

Bulgaria Celebrates St. George's Day

An army parade on Sofia's Tsar Osvoboditel boulevard and Battenberg square marked the day of Bulgarian army on St. George's day, May 6.

Representatives of all military schools and types of military forces marched in front of hundreds of Sofia residents in an event that has become a tradition since 1993. Vinegrowing institute makes wine tourism plans

The oldest in the Balkans Institute for Viticulture and Oenology in the city of Pleven, Northern Bulgaria, is drafting a project for the development of wine tourism in this country. Bulgaria's Bid Listed Among Favourites at Eurovision 2008

The electronic dance song, which was surprisingly picked to represent Bulgaria at the Eurovision 2008, has recently appeared to be among the favourites in the music contest, critics claim.

DJ Take me away of Deep zone project and Balthazar ranks eight among the song with greatest chance to win this year's competition.

Tourism Expo “Vacation for You” in Bourgas

Tourism fair “Vacation for You” starts on the 8th of May in Bourgas. The exhibition takes place in the building of Lukoil Neftochim. The event is organized by the Regional Tourism Association in Bourgas, Bourgas Exhibition centre under the patronage of the State Tourism Agency.
