Sheraton Sofia Hotel Balkan sends the old year off with a new Banquet Hall

The non official opening of the “Royal Hall” in Sheraton Sofia Hotel Balkan took place on the 13th of December. The occasion for the advanced opening was the Christmas party of the luxury hotel. All of the travel agencies and people working in the field of tourism and the hotel business honoured the event.

The wide Royal hall was filled by the sounds of the classic retro hits and caver versions of modern songs performed by visiting musicians. The guest and the hosts said each other “Cheers”...

The Future of Vitosha

The entire lift net on Vitosha will be reconstructed by a company, closely related to Ulen, which maintains the ski zone in Bansko.

One lift card will be used for all of the lifts on Vitosha. For the first time tourists and skiers will be able to use the lifts with one card, after the entire lift net is now managed by one owner – “Vitosha Ski” JSC.

2 new hotels to be added to Sunny Day sea resort

Sunny Day Co. said it will build at an undisclosed cost two new hotels in the Bulgarian Black Sea resort of the same name.
The first hotel will be built on the site of the existing Veronica hotel.
The second hotel will replace the existing administrative building in the resort. That project has already been granted a construction permit.
Both hotels will offer the standard range of spa services.
The funding will be sourced from the company's capital raise. The shareholders have approved...

Bulgaria and Croatia Sign Cooperation Programme in Science, Education and Culture

Bulgaria and Croatia signed on December 11 intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in science, education and culture, Bulgarian news agency BTA said.

"Symbolically, with these signatures we only followed up on what has existed between the Bulgarian and the Croatian people for 13 centuries now," Croatian ambassador to Bulgaria Drazen Vukov Colic said in Bulgarian at the signing ceremony.

Eco-Houses along the Black Sea Coast
