The start of the “Super Borovets” project will be marked on Monday. The head of the national fund of Oman varit Murbak Said Al Harusi will participate on the event. Not long ago the National Company bought part of the project. The other investor is Equest. The Prime Minister Sergey Stanishev and Ahmed Dogan will also participate. The project plans the construction of 40 km new pistes, lifts and drag lifts, sports equipment and hotels.

ETC-president Arthur Oberascher: "Tourism is Europe’s face to the world”, proclaimed Arthur Oberascher, president of the thirty-eight member European Travel Commission (ETC). 'Skate Zagora' 2007 skateboarding competition will take place in the local skateboarders' favorite city for riding - Stara Zagora.
The event will take place оn Friday and Saturday, October 5-6.

On Fiday will be performed demo in front of the municipality building. On the next day will be leaded the contest. It will start at 11.30h and will be divided in 3 rounds: qualifications, semifinal and final.

The team of archaeologists of the famous Bulgarian Professor Nikolay Ovhcarov has unearthed three unique artefacts from the different epochs of the ancient city Perperikon.

The three artefacts were unearthed during the four-month excavations of the team, Professor Ovcharov himself announced at a Wednesday press conference.

The first artefact is a bronze sword dated back to the 13-12 century BC. Such swords were used in the Trojan War, the professor explained.

Three unique monuments from different stages of the history of Perperikon were found during archaeological research in the Eastern part of the Rodope Mountain.
Prof. Nokolai Ovcharov showed the findings for the first time. The first finding is a bronze sword from 13-12 Century BC.

More than a million tourists will visit Bansko this winter, prognosticate tour-operators, the Standart daily reported.
There are 15,000 hotel beds now, and probably will be twice as many when the hotels and apartment constructions are completed.

Bulgaria has no future in the cheap tourism. We are now members of the EU and we can't compete with destinations like Turkey and Dubai, which construct complexes for cheap tourism and with cheap work hand.
