The Fourth International Youth Festival Euroart starts these days in Blagoevgrad and is going to continue 5 days. This year’s second edition of Lovech Rock Music Fest is officially organized by BTK and the Bulgarian Telecommunications Company Mobile Operator – VivaTel. The fest takes place from 06 to 11 May at a special stage in the centre of Lovech Downtown and includes presentations of 6 Bulgarian and 5 worldwide known rock bands. The regional governor of Vidin Mr. Krsato Spasov region invites all citizens and guest of the town to attend the official start of the construction works of the Danube Bridge II. The official ceremony will be opened by the Prime minister of the Republic of Bulgaria- Mr Segei Stanishev at 12.00 PM on May 13th 2007.
The event is organized by the Ministry of transport and the executor company from Spain – FCC.

Bulgaria's Foreign Minister Ivaylo Kalfin opened Monday, 07 May, the International Spring Fair in the city of Plovdiv.

A total of 1274 producers of consumer and technological goods from 41 countries will take part in the expo.

"Plovdiv Fair will continue to be one of the most important expos in South-eastern Europe as it is a scene for meeting of companies from many countries around the globe," Minister Kalfin said.

Bulgaria is to take part in a spa tourism, rehabilitation and medical tourism international exhibition in Finland and Estonia from May 8 to 10.
State Agency for Tourism (SAT) and Bulgaria’s embassy in Finland arranged for the country to take part in the event, Focus news agency reported.

Private investors from Oman recently expressed their interest in building a new bridge over the Danube, connecting Romania and Bulgaria in the Calarasi / Silistra region, Bulgarian media informs.

The official intention was made public by Ivo Andonov, Silistra mayor, quoted by the national radio.
The second bridge is currently under construction and is scheduled to come into use in 2010, connecting the cities of Calafat and Vidin.

Construction of second bridge over Varna Lake - "Asparuhov Brdge 2" is planned in the near future. The project represents the first of the three variants for the construction of “Cherno More” highway.
