Tickets for Kaliakra Rock Fest 2008 will be launched today, on May 15. This year the traditional rock fest in Kaliakra will be held from 5th to 7th of July. The real fans of rock will have the chance to buy one-day tickets for each separate day fromn the fest. Tickets available at the tiocket centre of NDK (the National Palace of Culture) in Sofia and from Ticketstream.bg.
The one-day ticket will cost 50 BGN, while a three-day ticket will be only 90 BGN.

Marble consecrated slab stone from the Rome epoch was discovered in archaeological excavations by the director of the Archaeology Museum in Hisar town doctor Mitko Madjarov.
The precious found has sizes 50 to 50 cm and presents the three Rome nymphs - patronesses of the mineral springs.

Archaeolosists commented that the art is made by complete master.

There is a sign on the slab, which is still unread, but is expected to be devoted to the goddesses.

Bulgaria's Prime Minister Sergey Stanishev opened Wednesday the tenth annual specialized expo of agricultural machines and equipment in the Danube city of Ruse.

The agro fair iorganized in the Ruse University "Angel Kanchev" is taking place between May 14 and May 17.

Over 180 manufacturers and distributors of agricultural equipment, machines, seeds, and applicable software are taking part in the expo.

Flocafe - a cafe chain part of Greek food group Vivartia, opened on Tuesday, May 13 its first outlet on Bulgarian territory, The Dnevnik a.m. revealed.
The Flocafe is located in Sofia, on the St. Nedelya square on the same place where the Goody's eatery was, another chain part of the Vivartia group.

The managers intend to open at least one more outlet in another city in Bulgaria by the end of the year.

The Flocafe chain operates about 80 outlets in Greece and Cyprus.

The Bulgarian and the foreign tourists' interest towards local SPA and wellness tourism has increased.
This was reported in the latest research of the local State Agency of Tourism (SAT).
According to the research 18% of the Bulgarians and 34% of the foreign tourists spend time for SPA tourism during their winter vacations.

One of the main priorities in the strategy for tourism developing is exactly the SPA tourism, Stela Baltova, vice chairperson of SAT, pointed out.

The sea resort of Sozopol will start the season with a special programme and fireworks. For first time this year the resort will be visited by Spanish and French tourists. The official concert will be held at the old amphitheatre of Sozopol on June, 06.
The resort will be visited by 130 000 tourists, mainly from Germany, Scandinavia and Russia. About 40 % of the tourists will be Bulgarians.
Traditionally teh official opening of Nessebar will be marked by a rich cocktail party under fireworks....

Balchik's municipality has prepared a long-term advertising strategy for the showcasing of the area's potential for cultural tourism.

The project has been initiated by the mayor of Balchik, Nikolay Angelov.

The strategy will be known as "Land of Seven Civilizations".

Balchik will participate in the upcoming Plovdiv Fair "Exhibit of the Bulgarian Municipalities" with a large display.

Two balneology complexes are under construction in the Bulgarian mountain resort of Velingrad. After their completion they will comprise a small vacation village.

The Sveti Spas I complex is supposed to be ready by December 2008. It will take a total area of 23 540 square meters, and will consist of four residential buildings and a hotel.

The Sveti Spas II complex is expected to be completed by the end of 2009. It is situated on a land plot of 10 472 square meters.

The first divisions of the International Plovdiv Fair will soon open in Sofia and Varna. Other big municipal centers are expected to follow as well.

The divisions will be built on state owned land plots, which will be deposited in the capital of the International Plovdiv Fair in order to increase the association's assets.

The announcement was made by Petar Dimitrov, Minister of the Economy and the Energy Production at the official opening ceremony of the 28th Spring Fair in Plovdiv....
